What We Do Not Do
We are a general building contractor, not a specialty shop. We do not do standalone HVAC service calls, pool construction, solar-only installs, tree work or septic systems. If that is what you need, call us anyway and we will point you to someone local who does it well.

Questions About Our Services
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Home Solutions Construction Inc. holds California contractor license #1125128 (General Building, Class B), carries general liability and workers' compensation, and is bonded for $25,000. Certificates come with every proposal without you having to ask. Verify us at cslb.ca.gov.
What areas do you serve?
Santa Maria, Orcutt and Santa Barbara County, plus southern San Luis Obispo County. See the full list on our areas we serve page.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes. The on-site consultation and written estimate are free with no obligation. For projects that need architectural drawings before a firm number is possible, we will say so up front.
Do you take small jobs?
We do, though there is a practical minimum — mobilizing a licensed crew and pulling a permit for a two-hour task rarely serves you well. Call and describe it and we will tell you honestly.
Can you work with my architect or designer?
Yes, and we like it. We also bring in our own when a project needs drawings and you do not have someone. Either way you get a selections schedule with deadlines so nothing stalls.
How far out are you booking?
It varies by season and project size. Smaller jobs typically start within a few weeks; additions and ADUs are scheduled around design and permitting, which runs longer. We give you a real date, not a hopeful one.
