Areas We Serve
Santa Maria, Orcutt and all of Santa Barbara County — plus southern San Luis Obispo County. Local enough to be on your job the same week, not a franchise routing calls from another state.
Where We Build
If your town is on this list, we are there regularly. If it is not, call anyway — we travel for the right project.
Santa Maria
Home base. Most of our work starts within a few miles of the shop, and we know the city plan-check desk by name.
Santa Maria guideOrcutt
Kitchens, baths, roofing and garage-to-ADU conversions throughout Orcutt and Old Town.
Orcutt guideNipomo
Larger lots and more ADU room. Regular remodel and addition work up the 101.
Guadalupe
Older housing stock where re-stucco, roofing and full rewires are common.
Lompoc
Whole-home renovations and roofing, including coastal-exposure detailing.
Los Alamos
Small-town remodels and additions in unincorporated Santa Barbara County.
Buellton
Kitchen, bath and ADU work in the Santa Ynez Valley.
Solvang
Remodels that have to respect existing architectural character.
Arroyo Grande
Remodels and additions across the Five Cities area.
Grover Beach & Oceano
Coastal homes where moisture detailing matters most.
Pismo Beach
Kitchen, bath and exterior work with ocean-air exposure.
“Local” Is Not Marketing Language
Every jurisdiction on the Central Coast runs plan check differently. Knowing that is worth real weeks on your schedule.
- We know which plan checker wants what, so corrections come back faster
- Our suppliers and trade partners are all on the Central Coast — no cross-state lead times
- Coastal exposure changes material choices; inland framing details do not always apply here
- We can be on your job the same week when something needs attention
- Warranty calls get answered by the same crew that built it
Permitting Reality by Jurisdiction
The City of Santa Maria, unincorporated Santa Barbara County, Lompoc and the Santa Ynez Valley cities each have their own submittal requirements, correction habits and inspection scheduling. A contractor who only works one of them will guess at the others.
We tell you the real turnaround for your address during the first consultation — not a national average pulled off a website.

Service Area Questions
Do you charge extra for travel?
Not within our normal service area. For projects well outside it we will tell you up front whether travel is priced into the estimate — it will never be a surprise line item.
How far will you actually go?
Roughly a 60-mile radius from Santa Maria covers most of what we do. For a large enough project we go further; for a small repair three counties away, we will honestly tell you to call someone closer.
Do you work in unincorporated county areas?
Yes, regularly. Unincorporated Santa Barbara County has its own permit process and its own timelines, and we work in it often enough to know what to expect.
Can you handle coastal properties?
Yes. Salt air and wind-driven rain change what materials and flashing details make sense — we account for that rather than using the same spec we would inland.
