Learn moreFull-home renovations and tile roofing, with tighter design review and higher finish expectations.
Santa Barbara projects come with more design scrutiny and higher finish standards than most of the Central Coast. Budgets and timelines both need to reflect that from day one.
Architectural review is real here, and it shapes what gets approved — particularly on exterior work, roofing material and anything visible from the street. We plan for that review rather than treating it as a surprise.
Tile roofs are far more common than in North County, and they are a different trade from comp shingle: heavier, more fragile underfoot, and less forgiving of bad flashing detail. Coastal exposure makes that detail matter more, not less.
